Kaka named WECL Cup Most Valuable Player.

Having inspired Barcelona to a WECL Cup glory, Kaka had further reason to celebrate after collecting the Most Valuable Player award. The player was happy to win the award and admitted the rest of the Barca players were responsible for his achievement. The captain scored two goals in the final against Roma and was a key player throughout the tournament. Always a threat on the left flank and a leader on the field, Kaka proved why he is one of the most WANTED players in the WECL. When asked about his expectations for next season he commented, "You've only seen but a fraction of the mosters Barca's men are. Next season, we'll dine in hell".

Barcelona wins WECL Cup 2007/2008

The Catalan club Barcelona, won their first CL silverware in the WECL. It was a clash of two very dynamic and trophy hungry teams, an encounter NO ACTO PARA CARDIACOS. Roma supporters had travelled west from Roma in their thousands, easily outnumbering the Barca fans inside the Stadium and invading Monaco downtown to watch on big screens. It was all set for Romas’s victory, the flags were risen, the t-shirts were worn, the chants were loud, the emotions were abundant- their arrows were ready to "blot out the sun". Roma came on as favorites after demolíshing the almighty Santos in the semifinal 6-2. Milito and company were ready to put on a show for the fans…Too bad, Barca had plans to spoil the party.

The Catalan side enjoyed plenty of possession with Deco at the heart of some intricate passing moves, orchestrating the midfield. Roma seemed content to soak up the pressure early in the game, showing little attacking intent. Kaka proved to be a meaning presence in the left flank and what a night it will turn out to be for the Brazilian.

Barcelona was able to maintain its coolness and despite a score of 2-1 was able to neutralize any Roma's attempt to counter attack. The win was sealed with Kaka providing to crucial goals in the last 30 minutes of the game and the Catalan club was able to seat back and enjoy the last minutes of their victory.

Despite an inconsistent league performance, Barcelona was able to come out with something positive at the end, their first CUP. "We needed this cup to keep believing in our potential", said Kaka right after the game. "Now we are going after the Orejona next season" he added. Eto'o was very emotional after the game and couldn't stop admiring the cup trophy. "I'm very excited to win this trophy with Barca..it's more than just a trophy..its an unforgetable experience. I will miss this team." he concluded in tears.

Roma wishes to congratulate Barcelona on a well deserved victory against Roma in the
Cup Final. It obviously was not easy till the last 20 minutes of the game that Barca scored 3 goals to wrap it up.

To Seal the Eto'o transfer after a Lampard approach it took more motivation, it took an offer the Catalan Manager could not dare to refuse, it took a Romanian, CRISTIAN CHIVU. After months of negotiating Samuel Eto'o, he is finally where he wants to be in LONDON. The Barca director were determined to let Eto'o go only if a good offer crossed their path. And it happened, on a "social" friday afternoon, in a conference called between the managers of both clubs, an agreement was reached for the best of both clubs. La Cobra, one of the best strikers in the CL packed and took a jet to Stamford Bridge with brazilian prodigy Thiago Neves included in the move. In exchange, Barcelona welcomed the services of two beasts. Romanian HITMAN Cristian Chivu and English Sniper Frankie Lampard. Both clubs believe it is best for both organizations. After selling Henry, Chelsea was in need of a top notch scorer and Barca lost a diamond after Thuram annouced his retirement and were in search of a quality center back to complete the pack of stars. "GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO THOSE WHO ARE PATIENT" commented the Barcelona manager when asked about the long hours of negotiations spent. With a solid defense, a dynamic and strong midfield and one of the best offense in the league..BARCA are destined to be a strong competitor next season.

Frankie Lampard: Un franco tirador al Barca.

Despues de años de espera, el Barcelona ha firmado a uno de los franco tiradores mas peligrosos de la CL, el Ingles Frankie Lampard. Despues de pasar un examen medico, el club catalan presento a Lampard como su primer fichaje para la proxima temporada. Un jugador de primera clase, un lider en la cancha y un profesional. Lampard tiene muchas ganas de formar parte de este club y espera formar uno de los mediocampos mas solidos de la CL con Michael Essien y Deco en un buen nivel. El manager del Barca no paro de elogiar a Lampard, destacando que "es uno de los jugadores mas completos en el mundo..". Lampard ha estado en varios equipos de la CL: Santos, Real Madrid, Chelsea y ahora Barca. A mitad de temporada hizo noticia al fichar con el Chelsea junto a Evra por Ashley Cole. "Es un dinero muy bien invertido...ahora hay que trabajar con el para que se sienta comodo, que desarrolle un buen entendimiento del sistema del Barca y comienze a disparar sus cañones" agrego el manager.

Barca are believed to have purchased the services of two superstars. They are scheduled for a medical in the coming hours in the city of Barcelona. The manager was full of happiness when asked about these mistery signings. "All I can say right now is that they are a major boost to the squad and with Nani joining us for next season, the team is 90 percent complete to pursue the title." He then paused, smiled and added, "A manager could not have asked for more".

La COBRA se viste de AZUL.

Segun rumores desde Stamford Bridge, Jose Mourinho finalmente se a salido con la suya y como segunda contratacion para la proxima temporada a firmado a la Cobra que un dia se le deslizo de sus manos y hasta ahora no habia podido recuperar. Se rumora que Samuel Eto'o ya se viste de AZUL y esta contento en Londres. Junto a Ribery y Villa estan listos para pelear el escudeto la proxima temporada. Agarrense, porque la cobra Eto'o esta listo para deborar defensas de todas partes. Los detalles de la compra todavia no se han rebelado.

Nani to Barca at the end of season after loan spell.

Nani is said to be excited to know that at the end of the season he will be joining his club Barcelona after a full season loan spell at Manchester United. The 21 years old winger has been requested by the manager of Barca to streghten the team for next season. The portuguese international will bring the speed and flair the catalan club likes and will give Kaka liberty to play his favorite position, second striker. Man United, Roma and Chelsea have asked for the services of Nani but it might take more than an interest from these clubs to persuade the player to ask for a move.

FIFA 2009 News: DEMO

A few weeks ago EA Sports have announced the release date for the Fifa 2009 demo - September 11.

The demo will allow the player to do a full exhibition and will have 6 teams available:

Marseille
Schalke
Real Madrid
Chelsea
AC Milan
Toronto FC

The demo will unveil the new Team Management feature: Custom Tactics, giving the player a chance to sample tactical options in each of the key categories (Build Up, Chance Creation, and Defence).

The PS3 version features the FIWC Stadium, and the 360 features New Wembley.

Loba VS Penta

In a long awaited encounter between the penta Santos and la loba Roma, it happened again! Roma defeated Santos 4-0... at the Olympic.Goals from Camoranesi, Seedorf, Gilardino, and of course Diego Milito. Roma had an excellent preformance but how will it end at the Maracana, will Santos win 5-0 to get the win or will it be Roma again? Only time will tell.

Niemi se retira del futbol.

Niemi ha anunciado su retiro del futbol esta mañana. La razon, una lesion de muñeca que le impide jugar. Con 36 años, el arquero del Chelsea tuvo sus momentos de gloria esta temporada y ayudo al los blues a estar hasta ahora, invicto. Es una lastima que en la semana mas importante para el Chelsea, ya que se enfrenta al Barca en la copa y al Santos en la liga, se haya retirado. La WECL le desea lo mejor en su vida personal a Niemi.

Noticia de ultima hora Ultima Hora, a llegado a nuestra mesa de redaccion la noticia que puede hacer historica en la CL,2 clubes que nunca han hecho un trade podrian por fin llegar a un acuerdo debido a una propuesta que esta siendo considerada por los directivos del Arsenal,estamos tratando de averiguar quienes son los jugadores en propuesta ya que los directivos quieren primero cerrar la negociacion antes de dar los nombres.

Lo unico que quisieron adelantar en que es un jugador que aportaria mucho al equipo de Sneijder y compania,que le daria mas armas de ataque al conjunto de Wenger y que es un jugador que tiene toda una carrera por delante.

Estaremos anunciando cualquier acontecimiento que suceda en las proximas horas que viva el futbol!!!!

He's Back......

During the pass three weeks Roma has not been having the best results.First the team was striped of seven points in the season being left with just nine points.Then discovered that Diego Milito was not to be played in official games due the fact that Zaragoza had descended to division 2. But now he has signed for the Italian club Genoa. For the past three weeks Milito was forced to watch the game from the sidelines(with Gilardino as his replacement).But now that he is back will he continue his rain of goals as he did previously in the League.

This gives Roma a better chance against Santos with Diego Milito and Alberto Gilardino aiming for "La Mocha".
