Barcelona sends proposal to fight doping in WECL.

Barcelona sent out a proposal this morning to the WECL committe concerning the highly discussed topic of doping in the league and how to prevent it. In the proposal, Barcelona stated their intentions to "intensify the fight against doing". The catalan club believes an anti-doping program must be implemented which "aims to uphold and preserve the ethics of sport, to safeguard the integrity of the league and to ensure that all competitors have an equal chance". Barca proposes a simple proccedure in which a mandatory doping control of 2 randomly chosen players from each team will be performed after every official tournament game.

It is known that some clubs are concerned about this conflict. It is expected that in the next meeting this issue will be discussed and hopefully, before the league starts, a decision will be made.

What are your thoughts about this issue? Please dont hesitate to leave a comment.

I thought there was a rule already in place where you can test a club as much as you wanted before and after a match? I know clubs have run tests in the past. How different will the new rule be? anyways count with my vote. Who is altering their players, come on fellows - Fairlplay!!!
