Gilardino has arrived at the Olympic Stadium in Rome. In what seemed to be a doubtful negotiation Chelsea manager Tony decided to trade Gilardino for the right side back, Chimbonda. Gilardino and Chimbonda will finish playing the first round of the season, but when the second round begins the two players will transfer to newly found clubs.
