WINTER DRAFT PREVIEW
This Sunday, the winter draft will take place at Liverpool headquarters. It is believed to be a very exciting draft, with the "expansion" draft to follow. Arsenal has the first two picks of the draft and rumours are they will pick the best CB out there, Pepe and a no so secret attacking midfielder. AC Milan is in need of some full backs, and a center back after releasing almost retired Andrade, but having such a good pick, he might be tempted to sign a prospect such as Giovinco or Denilson. It is not a secret that Chelsea needs to be careful in this draft. It is obvious that they have no DMF, No GK and need an extra CB..just to be leveled with the rest of the teams. The question remains, who will they decide to pick first? Roma has kept their intentions very secret but it is known that lacking an extra Center Back, they will try to pick the best CB first if allowed. They are also linked with the argentinian midfielder Maxi Rodriguez and Portugal international Simao Sabrosa. Liverpool have denied their interest in Togo striker Adebayor, but despite their effort to hide their intentions, it is believed to be their first priority. Santos is Santos, and they always pick the best. With a team full of galacticos, their only weakness might be the right flank. Bosigwa could be a good signing for the Brazilians. A top class Center Mid is also being linked to Santos. Barcelona has no other option but to wait for their turn and see what is left. A full back, a goalkeeper and a CF are on their top priority list.
